I had a great first experience at Spoon Thai Kitchen! Since they’re newly opened, everything felt fresh, modern, and exceptionally clean. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in. Service was impressively fast, and everyone made me feel genuinely welcome. I ordered the Pad See Ew, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The noodles had a great texture, and the portion size was fantastic. The server asked if I wanted a small or large, and I chose the small… but honestly, it looked more like a large! Now I’m curious to see just how big the large portion is! 😄 I also tried the egg rolls, which were freshly made, crispy, and very tasty. Everything arrived hot and well prepared. Overall, this was an excellent dining experience with great food, generous portions, friendly service, and a spotless restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful little spot in the Sprouts plaza. Excellent Thai food, very flavorful, one of the dishes we had the salmon was crispy among the delicious noodles. The green curry was rich and has a nice spice to it, a pleasant sweet undertone as well. My husband had the drunken noodles. The only thing he missed was fresh chilies, other than that it was savory and well done. Excellent! Highly recommend.

Great quiet atmosphere. Wonderful service. Menu is visually appealing and makes it easy to order. The food compared to my go to Thai restaurant was ok. My visually good a green curry and he said it was delicious.

Opened around January 2026, this new, family-run restaurant features owners White and Kenny serving up light and fresh, fast-casual Thai dishes in North San Diego. THE FOOD Impressively, the owners ensured that every dish came out piping hot from the kitchen. 🐓 Chicken Satay: Fresh, juicy, and served with crisp veggies and flavorful sauces. They did a really nice job on the cooking. 🐟 Ginger Fish (Swai): Topped with fresh ginger and cilantro to brighten the dish. This has a calmer, light-to-medium flavor profile, so I recommend enjoying it before diving into any of the heartier curries or dishes with robust flavors. 🍤 Red Curry with Shrimp: Rich and balanced without being too sweet. The vegetables were cooked nicely. We ordered a 4-star spice level, but next time I will venture to the 6-7 level for a more robust kick. THE SERVICE White and Kenny showed great enthusiasm throughout the meal. They were constantly moving around, checking on tables, and eagerly sharing their knowledge and love for food and hospitality. OVERALL A pleasant family eatery serving fresh food with excellent, family-friendly service. Wishing them the best on their restaurant journey!

This is a new restaurant in town and I love it. This is my second time visiting. I visited last weekend and ate in. This time I'm going to pick it up and take it home. The food is awesome and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I'll be coming back again and again.
